First, gather the tools you will need, including a ladder, gloves, a trowel or scoop, and a hose.
Position your ladder on a stable and level surface, such as a driveway or patio, and carefully climb up to the gutters.
Use the trowel or scoop to remove any debris, such as leaves and twigs, from the gutters.
Once you have removed the larger debris, use the hose to flush out any remaining debris and dirt.
Inspect the gutters for any signs of damage, such as holes or leaks, and repair or replace them as needed.
Once the gutters are clean and in good repair, carefully climb down from the ladder and dispose of the debris you removed from the gutters.
