6 Common issues with windows in your home

There are several common issues that can occur with windows in your home:

  1. Drafts: This is one of the most common issues with windows. If you feel a draft coming from your windows, it could be due to poor weatherstripping or a lack of insulation.

  4. Loose glazing: If you notice that the glass in your windows is loose or rattling, it could be a sign that the glazing needs to be tightened or replaced.

  5. Single pane windows: Single pane windows do not provide enough insulation for a comfortable and energy efficiency home, it cause loss of energy and increase heating/cooling cost.

  6. Cracks or breaks: Windows can become damaged over time, which can lead to cracks or breaks in the glass. This can be a major safety hazard and should be addressed as soon as possible.
